To put it plainly, they are The Real McCoy. Natural diamonds are diamonds that have been mined and have originated from the primary rock deposits of kimberlite from beneath the Earth’s surface, formed millions of years ago. These deposits only exist in a few places around the world. Night Sky’s sources of rough diamonds – South Africa, Namibia and Lesotho – are some of the best known gem quality deposits in the world and have produced some of the most exquisite and historical diamonds ever found. Night Sky ONLY deals in natural, ethically mined diamonds.
Natural diamonds also Do Not include diamond synthetics such as Cubic Zirconia, Moissanite or Lab Grown/Cultured diamonds which are all man made and can be produced anywhere.
Night Sky offers free deliveries to all major cities throughout South Africa.
Loose Diamonds:
Deliveries take 1-2 working days for major cities and 2-4 working days for outlying districts. Orders placed after 4:30pm South African time, including weekends or Public Holidays, will proceed on the next working day.
International deliveries are subject to Shipping costs as per the courier as well as the relevant customs charges that each country may charge on incoming deliveries. International deliveries take 4-7 working days to land but are then subject to each country’s customs procedures.
Custom Jewellery:
Once the client has given written confirmation of the go-ahead on the custom jewellery item and the payment has been processed, manufacturing takes 10 working days. Night Sky will inform you when the item of jewellery is ready and Shipping will then be 2-4 working days for outlying districts. Orders placed after 4:30pm South African time, including weekends or Public Holidays, will proceed on the next working day.

Your Diamond or Jewellery will be fully insured during the delivery process until the item has been received by the customer or the custom’s department of the relevant international country.
Loose Diamonds:
Provided the Diamond and the Diamond certificate is returned undamaged, we will gladly refund you for the diamond within 30 days of purchase. However, if the Diamond certificate is damaged or lost, we will deduct the certificate fee from your purchase.
Exchanges are permitted as well, based on the above conditions.
Custom Jewellery:
Because each item of custom jewellery is made specifically as per the client’s requirements, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. We can remove the Diamond and refund the Diamond portion of the sale, provided the terms of 1.0 above are met. The jewellery portion of the ring can be melted down and a credit can be given for that gold based on the Gold price and Rand/Dollar exchange rate on the day of return

For custom made rings, if the size given to us by the client is incorrect, Night Sky can resize the ring provided the sizing is not more than 3 sizes different. Contact us to arrange a collection and a quote to resize.
Each Diamond purchased on Night Sky comes with a Laboratory Certificate as well as a Valuation Certificate for insurance which is inflated to cover retail replacement value and or exchange rate fluctuations.

Absolutely. Our Diamonds are ethically mined from accredited sources in Southern Africa; namely Lesotho , Namibia and of course, South Africa where world famous Diamonds such as the Great Star of Africa and The Eureka were found years ago. All of our natural Diamonds have the Kimberley Process Certificate before manufacturing to prove and authenticate that they were mined from approved sources which adhere to the stipulated parameters of operating and trading in conflict-free Diamonds.
