Shipping Information
Loose Diamonds
Deliveries take 2-3 working days for major cities and 3-7 working days for outlying districts. Orders placed after 4:30 pm South African time, including weekends or public holidays, will be processed on the next working day.
Please be advised that due to Covid 19 , delivery times may be affected .
International deliveries take 4-7 working days to land, but are then subject to each country’s customs procedures.
Custom Jewellery
Once the client has given written confirmation of the approval on the custom jewellery item and the payment has been processed, manufacturing takes 10 working days. Night Sky will inform you when the item of jewellery is ready and shipping will then be 2-4 working days. Orders placed after 4:30 pm South African time, including weekends or public holidays, will be processed on the next working day.
International deliveries are subject to shipping costs as per the courier, as well as the relevant customs charges that each country may charge on incoming deliveries. International deliveries take 4-7 working days to land, but are then subject to each country’s customs procedures.
Pricing
Night Sky will cover the insurance until the parcel has been signed for by the recipient. This includes both loose diamonds, as well as custom jewellery items.
International deliveries to main city centres will be $125. This price would also cover the insurance until the parcel has been signed for by the recipient. This includes both loose diamonds, as well as custom jewellery items.
Please note: the courier company will contact you in advance to organise a convenient delivery time. The parcel must be received within 24 hours or storage costs will be charged.
Please note: custom duties may be applicable depending on the country of the recipient.
Returns & Exchange Information
Loose Diamonds
Provided the diamond and the diamond certificate is returned undamaged, we will gladly refund you for the diamond within 30 days of purchase. However, if the diamond certificate is damaged or lost, we will deduct the certificate fee from your purchase.
Exchanges are permitted as well, based on the above conditions.
Custom Jewellery
Because each item of custom jewellery is made specifically as per the client’s requirements, we cannot accept returns or exchanges. We can remove the diamond and refund the diamond portion of the sale, provided the terms above are met. The custom jewellery portion of the ring can be melted down and a credit can be given for that gold based on the gold price.
General
For any item that a client wishes to return, the shipping and insurance costs will be at the client’s expense.
The client can contact Night Sky to organise the collection on the client’s behalf, in which case the courier and insurance fee would be charged to the client and, once paid, the courier will collect.
Only once Night Sky has inspected the item, and approved the condition of the return, will the refund process begin. Refunds will reflect in the client’s account within 14 working days.
Initial shipping costs will not be refunded.
